Race Day Details

Thanksgiving day SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

8:00 am — 5K Registration (while it lasts) until 9:00 am sharp!
8:00 am — Thanksgiving Gratitude: St. Luke’s Church will open the doors to the church between 8-8:30 am. You are welcome to come inside, remember a blessing, and light a candle in gratitude!
8:30-10:00 am — Coffee by Snapshots, Donuts by Bailey's Drive-in Donuts on Main St.
9:10-9:25 am — Warm-up Sponsored by Village Core Fitness
9:30 am — Race Start, starting gun

Registration & pick up:

• Registration & Packet Pick-up 8-9am Opera House Park (Broadway & Main Street)
• The race start line will form at Broadway & Pearl Street in downtown Granville
• The start time is at 9:30am

*This Thanksgiving Morning fun 5K is a not a certified road race.

LOOK FOR THREE BANNERS:

• Green banner with “Runners” — for the fast runners

• Yellow banner with “Trotters” — for the not so fast runners

• Red banner with “Having Fun” — for all walkers, strollers, and pets

* During the fun 5K, safety first. Keep right while you run, walk or stroll!

PLEASE NOTE: All streets intersecting with Broadway and Newark-Granville Rd. along the route will be closed during the fun 5K.
